Air quality monitors report no exceedances

PERRYVILLE – The area’s air quality remains good according to the latest report from Alexandria Rios, environmental planner with the Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission.

 

She said ozone levels remain within the limits allowed.

 

“Overall, the averages recorded at the Bonne Terre and Farrar monitors were 48 ppb and 47 ppb, respectively,” she said in a report to the commission Wednesday. “There were no exceedances recorded. Although, three days were recorded in the “Moderate” AQI category. These days were April 8, 13 and 14.”
