A memorial mass will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 for 94-year-old Weldon Francis Schremp of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
He was born February 23, 1930 in McBride, Mo. to Arthur Vincent and Bernice (Fenwick) Schremp who both preceded him in death.
Weldon and Patricia Mattingly were married April 25, 1953 at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer, MO. She proceeded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, William Schremp, Mark Schremp; daughter, Victoria Schremp; sister-in-law, Velda Schremp; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Schremp; four brothers, Hubert Schremp, Elvis Schremp, Howard Schremp, Glennon Schremp; three sisters, Lavern Marr, Betty DeRousse, Shirley Mattingly.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
Weldon served in the United States Air Force and was an over the road truck driver all his adult life. He was a very special and caring uncle and would have given his shirt off his back to help anyone. He had a deep love for dogs.
Weldon’s wishes were to have his body donated to science.
A memorial mass for 94-year-old Weldon Francis Schremp of Perryville, Mo. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Mo. with Rev. Clay Kilborn C.M. officiating.
