JEFFERSON CITY — A 40-year-old Perryville man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 61 in Cape Girardeau County Sunday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Justin P. Behrle was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by ambulance.
The patrol says Behrle was the driver of a northbound 2005 Chevrolet Malibu which ran off the left side of the road, struck a tree, overturned, struck another tree and then struck a fence.
The crash happened about 5:35 p.m. two miles north of Fruitland.
The patrol says Behrle was buckled up.
The Malibu was a total loss and was removed by Cape County Towing.
