ST. LOUIS — The National Weather Service in St. Louis reports the Mississippi River is predicted to go above the 27-foot flood stage early Thursday afternoon.
As of 2:30 p.m. Monday after the river was at 18.58 feet. It is expected to rise to 20.6 today, 27.2 Wednesday, 32.4 Thursday, 34.2 Friday and fall to 34.1 Saturday.
The NWS predicts the river will crest at 34.4 feet on Friday.
