STE. GENEVIEVE — Long time Valle Catholic volleyball coach and science and math instructor Nancy Fischer is the recipient of the Centennial Legacy Mentor Award presented at the Ste. Genevieve Chamber of Commerce’s 100th-year Gala held Friday evening.
“Coach” Fischer was recognized by the Chamber for her numerous significant contributions she has made, and continues to make for the students of the community.
Coach Fischer has been teaching science and mathematics at Valle Catholic High School for over 40 years, is the varsity volleyball coach, and is the women’s athletic director.
The award was presented by Chamber President Samantha Kertz.
