STE GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve topped Valle 11-1 last night to claim the championship of the MAAA Conference softball tournament. Earlier yesterday, the Dragons beat West County 8-5 behind 14 strikeouts by Ava Greer and Valle defeated Park Hills Central 9-7.
Ste. Genevieve plays Red Bud and Benton at Red Bud Saturday at 10 a.m.

Conner Clanton had a 99 – 49 on the front and 50 on the back.
