ST. MARY – Member of Mrs. Cooper’s 1993-1994 gifted class at Immaculate Conception in St. Mary will be gathering later this year to dig up and open a time capsule buried 30 years ago.
The students are asked to gather at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall, St. Mary, Mo. at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024.
According to a post on the Immaculate Conception Facebook page, the time capsule will be dug up and taken to the church hall and opened there. The place could be changed if the number of people attending is too large for the hall.
“If you are a former student that has items in the time capsule, you may bring your family and your parents. We will be asking for RSVPs in the near future,” the post said. “We just wanted to give you a heads up. If you are in contact with any of the students who have items in the time capsule, please share this information with them.”
