A private funeral will be held for 72-year-old Pamela Sue Schenck, of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at ClaRu DeVille Nursing Center in Fredericktown, Mo.
She was born May 27, 1951 in Lemay, Mo. a daughter of Edgar Lee and Georgia Pauline (Hinson) McAtee who both preceded her in death.
She married George Nelson and then later married Kim Schenck on June 6, 1998 who preceded her in death on June 9, 2014.
Pamela and her sister Karen were baptized Christians as teenagers.
She worked as a sales clerk in the retail business and was a good stay at home mother.
She loved her horse Spinner.
Survivors include two daughters: Theresa “Tara” (Clifford) Voelker of Larned, Kans., Heather (Louis) Struna of Castle Rock, Colo.; four sisters: Sharon Jones of the state of California, Karen (JIm) Livingston of Boise, Iowa, Patricia (Gary) Rutledge of Perryville, Mo., Elizabeth McAtee of Perryville, Mo.; two brothers: Michael (Tammy) McAtee of Perryville, Mo., and Pat (Sherry) McAtee of Perryville, Mo.
The funeral service will be private.
