Jo Ann Waser

A private funeral will be held for 78-year-young Jo Ann Waser (nee Cook), who passed away Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024.

 

She was born September 18, 1945 in St. Louis, Mo., a daughter of Virginia Cook and Joseph Cook who both preceded her in death.

 

Beloved wife of the late Donald Victor Waser, they resided in Bloomsdale, Missouri for nearly 50 years where they raised Appaloosa horses and Buffalo. Her passion was raising exotic birds and large standard poodles. She loved nature and all of God’s creatures.

 

Surviving are her two sons: Dwayne (Tracy) Waser of Imperial, Mo. and Donald Joseph Waser; a granddaughter: Janel (Jason) Harrell; grandsons: Ian and Ethan Waser; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

 

She was also preceded in death by a sister: Donna Bradley.

 

She was a proud member and supporter of World Bird Sanctuary.
