A funeral will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 for 81-year-old Dianne Marie Bohnert of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Mo.
She was born August 25, 1942 in Menfro, Mo. a daughter of Ferd “Butch” and Annie C. (Bert) Dobbelare who both preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters: Kathy A. Bohnert of Perryvlle, Mo. and Sandy S. Geisel of Perryville, Mo.; two sons: Daniel J. (Peggy) Bohnert of Ste. Genevieve, Mo. and James M. (Teresa) Bohnert of Perryville, Mo.; two brothers: Floyd Dobbelare Sr. of Perryville, Mo. and Don (Donna) Dobbelare of East Moline, Ill.; a sister: Pam Schmidt (Friend Bob) of Perryville, Mo.; seven grandchildren: Joey Hacker, Amber Buerck, Ashley Roy, Breanne Bohnert, Emily Bohnert, Cody Bohnert, and Taylor Arnold; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Sonja Dobbelare and close friend, Melvin Berkbuegler.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Sereno, Mo.
Dianne loved providing childcare in her home over 30 years.
She also enjoyed camping with her family and friends.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo. and will continue from 8-9:20 a.m. Thursday, April 4th, 2024 with the rosary being recited at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
A funeral mass for 81-year-old Dianne Marie Bohnert of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Sereno, Mo. with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be given to Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, Belgique or Masses.
