JEFFERSON CITY — Two women were hurt in a Highway 32 crash in Ste. Genevieve County Friday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 85-year-old Leanna M. Yates of Ste. Genevieve was taken to Parkland Health Center by a Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance and 23-year-old Audrey J. Goodwin of Bonne Terre was taken to Parkland Health Center by a private conveyance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a 2012 Ford Edge driven by Goodwin slowed for stopped traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Yates.
The crash happened about 10:30 a.m. near Chestnut Ridge.
Both women were buckled up.
The Ford had moderate damage and was towed by Bucley’s Towing.
The Chevrolet had extensive damage and was towed by Ives Towing.
