Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2024 for 63-year-old Michael Ray Johnson of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at his residence.
He was born March 8, 1961 in St. Louis, Mo. to Norman Carl Johnson and Mariette Clarice (Morey) Perkins who both preceded him in death.
Michael and Janet (Parmer) were married August 25, 2016 in Perryville.
He is survived by two sons: Nicholas Papin and Joshua Papin; three daughters: Angela N. Seifert, Alicia Morgan-Cross, and Debbie Papin; a brother: Patrick Johnson; two sisters: Mindy and Melanie; and seven grandchildren: Lincoln Seifert, Adelie Morgan-Cross, Makenzie Seifert, Oliva Papin, Zephyr Papin, Emily Papin, and Brecken Morgan-Cross.
He was also preceded in death by a grandmother: Clarice Morey; mother-in-law: Kathrine Perkins; father-in-law: Merlin “Buck” Parmer; and grandchild: Aiden Papin.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Michael served in the United States Air Force.
He worked for Mississippi Lime Co. as a kiln operator for over 30 years.
He was a die hard St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He also loved hunting.
Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Mississippi Lime Kiln Union Hall at 950 South Gabouri St., Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
Military Honors will be held at 3 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given for family use.
