A funeral will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 for 89-year-old Alice Beckermann of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo.
She was born May 27, 1934 in Farmington, Mo., the daughter of John Perkins and Florence (Bolduc) Perkins who both preceded her in death.
She married Glennon “Buck” Beckermann March 26, 1955 who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters: Glenda (Van ) Yeager of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Donna Beckermann of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Vicky (Rick) Wolk of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a son: John Paul “PJ” (Virginia) Beckermann of Bourbon, Mo.; a sister: Ruth Boyet of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; grandchildren: Jennifer (Shawn) Roth, Wes (Liz) Wolk, Ashley (Derek) Grein, Adam Beckermann, Andrew Beckermann, Zach (Ashton) Beckermann, Lyndsay (Collin) Hill; numerous step grandchildren; great grandchildren: Trevor and Tessa Roth; Isabel, Crosby and Grady Wolk; Carter and Beckett Grein; Mae, John Francis, Krissy, Brayden and Haley Beckermann; Bryan Beckermann; Corra Hill; and numerous step great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by: two brothers: Guy Perkins and Walter Perkins; and a sister: Rosemary Perkins.
She was a member of the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and First Baptist Church of Ste. Genevieve.
Alice enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, bingo, gambling, and traveling.
She worked for 40 years at BiltBest Window Factory.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2024 and 8-9:45 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 89-year-old Alice Beckermann of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. The Rev. Roger Faulkner will officiate.
Burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
