Biden, Trump top Randolph County Primary

CHESTER – Joe Biden and Donald Trump topped their respective party primary elections Tuesday in Randolph County.

 

Biden had 527 votes for nomination as the Democrat Party candidate for president. He polled 527 votes  in a field of five candidates. Marianna Williamson had 38, Dean Phillips had 37, Frank “Frankie” Lozada had 18 and write in had eight.

 

Trump had 3,644 votes in a field of five candidates. Nikki Haley had 335, Ron DeSantis and Christie each had 62, Ryan L. Binkley had 19 and write in had 23.
