A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 for 60-year-old Leslie Leroy Orton of Altenburg, Mo. who passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at his residence.
He was born March 20, 1963 to Kenneth Ray Orton and Connie Joyce Diggs, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters: Amanda C. (James Jr.) Norris of Koshkonong, Mo. and Joanna “Annie” (James) Brademeyer of Imperial, Mo.; two sons: Leslie L. Orton, Jr. of West Plains, Mo., and Christopher Orton of Altenburg, Mo.; three brothers: Kenneth Orton, Jr. of Chester, Ill., David Diggs of Perryville, Mo., and Millard Diggs of Springfield, Mo.; three sisters: Terry (Roger) Sweatt, Debbie Orton, and Jenny Helm all of Fredericktown, Mo.; a brother-in-law: Jerry McCoy; a sister-in-law: Barb Orton; four grandchildren: James “JJ” Lee Norris III, Zoe Brademeyer, Lily Brademeyer and Cameron Orton; and his life partner: Amie Nesbit of Altenburg, Mo.
He was also preceded in death by a sister: Joyce McCoy; and a brother: Keith Orton.
Les worked in the maintenance department at Gilster Mary Lee Distribution Center in McBride, Mo.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 12-3 p.m. in KC side room.
