Annual K-12 Catholic Appeal Mass celebrated at St. Vincent

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent Catholic Schools students celebrated a K-12 Annual Catholic Appeal Mass last week.

 

At this mass, three representatives from the Annual Catholic Appeal Council: Mike Hagenhoff, Vern Dirnberger, and Sheila Roth presented St. Vincent de Paul High School with a gift of $177,000 which was raised during last year’s ACA.

 

 

The Students whose essays were winners in the 2023 ACA Essay Contest accepted the gift on behlaf of the school. They are: Jace Hennemann (first place), Abigail Schilling (second place), and Allie Patrick (3rd place).

 

St. Vincent Schools provided a donation of $420 to the ACA from the money raised by students throughout the school year.

 

The Annual Catholic Appeal pays for a wide variety of programs including scholarships, supporting Catholic schools, training for teachers, and supports Youth Ministries for all teens, Catholic Charities, food pantries, and more.

 

The Annual Catholic Appeal is held each April. Parishioners are asked to prayerfully consider donating to the ACA this year.
