STE. GENEVIEVE – The minutes of the March 7, 2023 meeting of the Ste. Genevieve Planning and Zoning Commission have been released.

 

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

Ste. Genevieve, Missouri

March 7, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.

Anthony Grass, Carl Kinsky, Justin Donovan, Junie Ewing, Kathleen Waltz,

Gerald Bauman, Alderman Joe Prince

 

Call to Order at 6:00 pm by Chairman Gary Roth

 

Roll Call: Commissioners Gary Roth, Carl Kinsky, Anthony Grass, Justin Donovan, and Alderman Joe Prince were present at roll call. Administrator David Bova was also present. Commissioners Gerald Bauman, June Ewing, and Kathy Waltz were absent.

 

Approval of the Agenda: Alderman Prince made a Motion to Approve the agenda as presented; Commissioner Grass seconded the motion, which passed 5-0-3.

 

Approval of the Minutes: Commissioner Donovan made a Motion to Approve the minutes of the December 7, 2023 meeting as presented; Commissioner Kinsky seconded the motion, which passed 5-0-3.

 

Introduction of Evidence: Mr. Bova presented the Ste. Genevieve Municipal Code, the Ste. Genevieve Comprehensive Plan, and the Staff Report for the request. Commissioner Donovan made a Motion to Approve the acceptance of the evidence as presented; Commissioner Grass seconded the motion, which passed 5-0-3.

 

Old Business: None

 

New Business:

 

SUP003-24. John & Bethany Noble are requesting a Special Use Permit to allow guest lodging in an R-2 General Residential District at 105 N 2nd Street. The applicant was not able to appear. Mr. Bova presented the application and answered questions from the commission. Commissioner Kinsky made a Motion to Recommend Approval of the Special Use Permit to the Board of Aldermen which was seconded by Alderman Prince and passed 5-0-3.

 

SUB002-24. Mr. Bova informed the commission of the administrative approval of a Minor Subdivision of property for TRE. LC, located at 770 / 780 Grass Street.

 

Adjournment: There being no further business, Commissioner Donovan made a Motion to Adjourn. Commissioner Grass seconded the motion which passed 5-0-3, and the meeting was adjourned at approximately 6:07 pm.
