JEFFERSON CITY – A 26-year-old Perryville man suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash on Route O in Perry County Saturday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Nichilas A. Cissell was taken to Mercy Perry County Hospital by an Air Evac helicopter.
The patrol says Cissell was the driver of a 2024 Can Am Maverick was eastbound on Route O when it struck a deer, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and then overturned.
The patrol reports Cissell was unrestrained.
The crash happpened about 8:23 p.m. a mile south of Perry County Road 620.
The Maverick received extensive damage and was towed to a private party.
