A funeral will be held Thursday March 14, 2024 for 92-year-old Erline Julianna Martin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Riverview At The Park in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born November 24, 1931 in Ste Genevieve, Mo., a daughter of Leo Meyer and Julianna (Lalumondier) Meyer who preceded her in death.
She married Jesse Martin. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons: Roger (Donna) Martin, Ryan (Angie) Martin, and Robbie (Lauraleigh) Martin; a daughter-in-law: Linda Martin; grandchildren: Jason, Torrey, and Jessica, Chad, Jarod, Joshua, and Cody, Dustin, Christopher, and Alex, Rebecca, Kassie, Zachary, Brittany, and Julianna; great-grandchildren: Jade, Summer, Drake, Lillian, Torrey II, Isabella, Carlyn, Nathaniel, Finnagen, Hawthorne, Sadie, Kylie, Cole, Lillianna, and Ewan.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Randall Martin; a daughter: Amber (Keith) Martin Wheeler; five brothers: Leo (Laverne) Meyer, Albert (Jeanette) Meyer, Irvin (Patricia) Meyer, Art (Viola) Meyer, and Donald (Theresa) Meyer; and a sister, Marilyn (Harry) Figge.
In her younger years, she and Jesse would go out dancing.
Erline loved her flowers especially African Violets.
She was a hard worker, liked to cook for Holiday gatherings and enjoyed watching tv.
Erline spent her time raising her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 92-year-old Erline Julianna Martin of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home. The clergy will be the Rev. Edward Nemeth.
Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, ALS Association, or to Crown Hospice.
