Michelle “Mickey” Flieg

Michelle “Mickey” Flieg age 51 of Sainte Genevieve died on February 16, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO.
She was born on November 11, 1972 to Lester and Geraldine “Pappy” Flieg at Cape Girardeau, MO. Mickey worked as a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist and Licensed Spiritual Healer.
On May 19, 1992 she married Paul.
Mickey is survived by Husband, Paul Flieg, Daughter, Jessica Flieg, Father, Lester Flieg, Sr., Brother, Mike (Angie) Flieg, Half-Brother, Lester “Junior” Flieg, Jr., Half-Sister, Lisa Ann (Steve) Brass; Many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Mickey is preceded in death by her Son, Dennis Flieg; Mother, Geraldine “Pappy” Flieg, In-laws, Aloysius and Hildegard Flieg.
She was a coordinator of PSR at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zell, MO, member of Cursillo Team, Farm Bureau Board, and a dedicated volunteer at St. Joseph Catholic Church involved with several Bible Study Groups and Save St. Joseph-Zell.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm & Friday, March 8, 2024, 8:00 am – 9:30 am at Basler Funeral Home, Ste. Genevieve, MO.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, 10:00 am at the St. Joseph Church, Zell, MO, with Rev. Ryan Weber, officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mickey was a Christian loving, selfless and compassionate wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was a cherished friend and sister in Christ to so many. She was a farmer, a grower, an educator, a mentor, a leader, a trailer blazer, a natural health rites leader, an educational and faith leader and mentor. Mickey enjoyed Sunday hiking trips, jeep rides, and float trips with Paul, Jess, Fluff and Cosmo. She spearheaded numerous events for her parish at St Joseph in Zell even becoming educated in canon law. She led and formed numerous events for the parish bringing the parishioners together to SAVE ST JOSEPH-ZELL along with having outside masses. She was a force with a gentle voice. She was a sister in Christ and most of all a lover of Jesus, always giving ALL Glory and Praise to Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer.
