A funeral will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 for 76-year-old Robert J. Beckermann of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born March 6, 1947 in Ste. Genevieve, a son of Robert R. Beckermann and Dollie (Blanford) Beckermann who both preceded him in death.
He married Joyce (Grannemann) Beckermann October 9, 1970. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by two sons: Scott M. (Jill) Beckermann of Sainte Genevieve, and Mike A. (Raven) Beckermann of Arnold, Mo.; a sister: Linda Smith of Mo.; and grandchildren: Jayci, Alysa and Olyvia Beckermann; Cash and Ryder Beckermann.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Thomas E. Beckermann, Barry D. Beckermann, David R. Beckermann, and Dennis J. Beckermann.
He was a founding member of Ste. Genevieve Militia. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a non commissioned officer with the rank of corporal. s
Bob was the assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 410 and also a merit badge Counselor.
He was retired from Ste. Genevieve County.
Bob enjoyed cooking, gardening, woodworking and working on cars.
Visitation will be 10 a.m to noon Saturday, March 2, 2027 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve with full military honors provided by VFW Post 2210.
