FARMINGTON, Mo. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control announces the arrest of 26-year-old Isaac A. Faulkner of Farmington. Faulkner was arrested Friday, for promoting child pornography, following an investigation by the Special Victims Unit of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control.
On Friday, February 23, 2024, investigators contacted Faulkner, after they received a Cyber Tip indicating Faulkner had distributed child pornography files, using an on-line application. Following an interview with Faulkner, he was taken into custody and transported to the St. Francois County Jail, where he was held, pending the filing of formal charges.
Later the same day, the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Faulkner with promoting child pornography. He is currently being held in the St. Francois County Jail, with an $25,000 bond.
The Division of Drug and Crime Control encourages internet users to promptly report to the Patrol or local law enforcement anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate, or sexualized communications with children.
The above charges are mere accusations and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence.
