A funeral will be held Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024 for 66-year-old Archie Basler Jr. of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Mo.
He was born June 15, 1957 in Perryville, Mo., a son of Archie Basler, Sr. and Hortense “Bobbi” (Karl) Basler who preceded him in death.
He married Linda (Jackson) Basler September 27, 1975. She survives in Ste. Genevieve.
He is also survived by a daughter: Bobbi Basler of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a son: Christopher (Tessa) Basler of Crystal City, Mo.; four sisters: Karla Huck of Jackson, Mo., Kathy (Bill) Klug of Ste. Genevieve, Kristine (Robby) Cumberland of Mountain View, Ark., and Kimberly Basler of Ste. Genevieve; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Vernon Huck and niece: Mickey Schweigert.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.

He was a member of Iron Workers Local 396, Sons of the American Legion, Ste. Genevieve Jaycees and he was an International Senator with the Jaycees,
