Bryant discusses upcoming budget address

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Missouri State Senator Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) participated in a press conference with Senate Republican Leader John Curran (R-Downers Grove) and State Senator Chapin Rose (R-Mahomet) to preview the Governor’s upcoming budget address and his misguided priorities:

“The people of Southern Illinois are sick and tired of this Administration’s misplaced priorities. Far too often, the needs of everyday Illinoisans have been ignored by the Governor and his allies. While Illinoisans struggle to afford essentials like eggs and electricity, this Governor continues to prioritize more and more taxpayer funds for his radical agenda, including free healthcare and cash assistance for noncitizens. Enough is enough. It is time for this Governor to put the needs of Illinoisans first.”
