STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Volunteer Fire Department recently held its annual awards supper.
Bob Bonnell received the Fire Fighter of the Year Award for 2023.
Bob Bonnell (left) was also presented with a ceremonial axe for 46 years of service and Charlie Wibbenmeyer (right) with a ceremonial axe for 44 years of service.
Justin Donovan, Bill Holst, Kate Breckenfelder and Gary Roth received Fire Chief’s Awards for going above and beyond for extra projects.
Jerry Staab received a 20 years of service pin.
The department thanked Lakenan Insurance Group for catering the meal.
