STE. GENEVIEVE – Here is an update on the restoration of the Ste. Genevieve VFW cannon.
It has been moved for the purpose of sandblasting.
This procedure was scheduled to start after Wednesday yesterday and was expected to take most of Thursday to complete.
The VFW also announced it will hold a concert at the VFW Hall, Saturday evening, March 2nd at 6 p.m. in order to raise money to defray the cost of the Canon’s restoration
