Theresa E. Roth

A funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 for 85-year-old Theresa E. Roth of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at her home in Sainte Genevieve.

 

She was born January 12, 1939 in Zell, Mo., a daughter of  Xavier Pfaff and Margaret (Abt) Pfaff, who both preceded her in death.

 

She married Floyd Roth on April 20, 1955, he survives in Ste. Genevieve.

 

She is also survived by a daughter: Beverly (David) Naeger of Sainte Genevieve; three brothers: Joseph Pfaff of Perryville, Mo, John (Ann) Pfaff of Sainte Genevieve, Mo, and Lawrence “Larry” (Carol) Pfaff of Festus, Mo.; a sister: Agnes (Melvin) Schneier of Perryville, Mo.; grandchildren: Krista (Benjamin) Wind, Darren (Desirea) Naeger and Ryan (Nycki) Naeger; great grandchildren: Zander Wind, Zaiden Wind and Freyja Naeger; and many nieces, nephew. cousins and friends.

 

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Anthony “Tony” Pfaff and Alphonse Pfaff.

 

She was an ovarian cancer survivor, she volunteered with Meals on Wheels for 10 years, played snare drum in Roth Band in local nursing homes for 20 years.

 

 Theresa sold Avon Products for over 25 years.  

 

She enjoyed gardening, she never met a flower that she didn’t like, gigging, fishing, deer hunting, spending time outdoors, music, embroidery, quilting, crocheting and traveling.  

 

Theresa was a member of the Ste. Genevieve Golden Age Club, Saddle Club and American Legion Auxiliary.  

 

Most of all she loved spending time with her family and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

 

Visitation will be 4-8  p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

A funeral for 85-year-old Theresa E. Roth of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Rev. Ryan Weber will officiate.

 

Burial will be at Roth Cemetery in Ozora, Mo.
