Jefferson College announces 48 hour Film Project

HILLSBORO — The Jefferson College PACE and Fine Arts Club is proud to announce the second annual Jefferson College 48 hour film fest. This call for filmmaking teams is open to all Jefferson County, Franklin County, Washington County, St. Francios County, Ste. Genevieve County, St. Charles County, St. Louis County, and St. Louis City residents who have access to a digital video recorder of any type.

Teams of up to five members will have 48 hours to shoot, score and edit a film that is to be no longer than 7 minutes in length. All students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome.

Have you always wanted to direct, produce or star in your own film on the big screen? Now is your chance.

Assemble your team, fill out an entry form and start visualizing your cinematic masterpiece.

One “top” prize of $300 will be awarded for Best Overall Film. A $200 prize will go for “Runner up” to Best Overall Film. The real prize is showing your film to an enthusiastic audience.

There will be a screening of the films on Friday, April 26th at 7:00pm in the Jefferson College Fine Arts Theatre. For more info email Bob Sullivan at rsulliv3@jeffco.edu.

Due to time constraints, the screening may be limited to the 10 best films.
