STE. GENEVIEVE – In an effort to help those in our community who are coping with the loss of a loved one, Basler Funeral Home has formed a partnership with the Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church Parish Nurse Program, Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital and the Ste. Genevieve County Community Center to offer a grief support group, called GriefShare beginning March 2024.
“At Basler Funeral Home, we realize navigating through the grief process after the loss of a loved one is an emotionally painful journey. While everyone’s response to loss is different, people facing loss and grief will experience many of the same challenges. Often times simply talking with other people who understand what you are experiencing brings great comfort, normalizes the grief experiences, and offers a supportive environment to help work through your grief,” a news release from the funeral home said.
GriefShare is a 13-week program designed to help individuals move through the grief process. Ranked number one in the world, GriefShare has helped over one million people find hope and healing after the loss of a loved one.
