Kevin Neal Decker, 67, of Evansville, Illinois, suddenly passed away at 3:08 pm, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 joining his parents in their eternal home.
He was born to the late Edward V. and Lydelle L. (nee Hornbostel) Decker on August 3, 1956 in Red Bud, Illinois.
Kevin married Jeanette M. Baughman on September 24, 1983 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. They enjoyed 40 beautiful years in wedded bliss; she survives.
He had worked at Spartan Light Metals for 42 years.
Kevin was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evansville, Illinois. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed learning about family genealogy and history. Kevin and Jeanette would often travel to historic sites and enjoyed car rides in nature together. He was a proud father that loved his family with a fierce passion. He will be remembered fondly for his big heart, selfless nature and witty sense of humor.
