St. Vincent Jr/Sr High School has 10 students on honor band

PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent Jr/Sr High School was represented by 10 students in the SEMO Small-Schools Honor Band hosted in Scott City on Saturday, January 20.

 

The Band recognizes outstanding musicians from MSHSAA Class 1-3 schools in Southeast Missouri.

 

The director of the HS Band was Joseph Pappas, a composer with over 400 titles to his credit who also owns a music publishing business and who has conducted bands at both the secondary and collegiate levels.

 

Representing the High School Band were:

Abby Kirn (Tenor Saxophone),

Reagan Meyer (Clarinet) and

Sybina Nations (Clarinet).

 

Representing the Junior High Band were

 

 

Luke Ryan (Trumpet),

Tristin Anders (Percussion),

Daniel Sauer (Baritone),

Anna Welker (Percussion),

Olive Taylor (Alto Saxophone) and

Jameson Lintner (Trombone).
