A funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 2024 for 76-year-old Margaret “Margie” Ann (Joggerst) Baechle of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born September 29, 1947 in St. Louis, Mo.
She married Raymond “Pete” Baechle on Feb. 8, 1973.
She is survived by: two sisters: Mary Janet Joggerst of River Aux Vases, Mo. and Mary Jane Bauer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a great-niece: Alysheia Werner of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a great-nephew: Wade (Heather) Jokerst of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father: Francis B. Joggerst; her mother: Hildagard A. (Basler) Joggerst; her husband: Raymond “Pete” Baechle; her sister: Mary Jean (Larry) Pettus; her brother: Clifford F. Joggerst, her brother-in-law: Dennis Eugene Bauer; her sister-in-law: Patricia A. Joggerst; and a great-nephew: Justin Jokerst.
She was a member of Church of Sainte Genevieve, VFW Auxiliary, SGCMH Auxiliary, and former member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church.
Margie was a fun loving, giving, caring person who loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved her dog, Lizzie. Margie enjoyed just about everything but cleaning.
Visitation will be 8-11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 76-year-old Margaret “Margie” Ann (Joggerst) Baechle of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Nemeth will officiate.
Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or to family use.
