A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 for 69-year-old Joyce K. Bievenue of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, who passed away at 9:32 am, Thursday, January 25, 2024 at St. Clare Hospital, Fenton, Missouri.
She was born July 23, 1954 in Chester, Illinois, a daughter of Ardell and Susan (nee Hooten) Wall who both preceded her in death.
Joyce married Gary Bievenue on May 27, 2006 in Waterloo, Illinois; he survives in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.
She is also survived by children: Josh Rodenberg of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois and Christina Prince of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; a brother: Robert Wall of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren: Jami Rodenberg, Gabriel Prince and Elliana Prince.
She had worked as a licensed practical nurse at Menard Correctional Center in Chester, Illinois.
Joyce enjoyed reading, watching the Price is Right and taking care of her dogs.
It was Joyce’s wish to be cremated.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois.
A memorial service for 69-year-old Joyce K. Bievenue of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, will be held
at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois. Pastor Darrel Jones will officiate.
