Boys Basketball

PERRYVILLE – Perryville lost to St. Vincent 75-51 in the varsity Mayor’s Cup game.

Perryville hosts Jefferson (Festus) Wednesday at 7 p.m.

St. Vincent plays at Saxony Lutheran Tuesday at 7:30.

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve lost to Farmington 75-64 Friday.

The Dragons host Park Hills Center tonight.

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle lost to visiting Kennett 51-47 Saturday. 

Tyler Gegg led the scoring with 19. Kellen Tucker had 11 points,

Valle Catholic lost at West County 62-58 Friday.

Colin Henderson led the Warriors with 15, Tyler Gegg had 12, and AJ Basler was also in double figures with 11. Josh Fallert had his second and third three-pointers of the season.

The Warriors play at Valley of Caledonia Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

CHESTER – Chester’s junior Jackets claimed a regional championship Friday with a 41-21 win over Smithton.

The Yellow Jackets were scheduled to play in the Pinckneyville Shoot Out Saturday. No scores were reported.
