A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 for 90-year-old Anna Josephine Stolzer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Riverview At The Park in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born December 22, 1933 in Perryville, Mo., a daughter of Leo Trapp and Cecilia (Balsman) Trapp, who both preceded her in death.
She married Clarence Stolzer on May 29, 1954. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son: Randy (Jeanne) Stolzer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; two daughters: Debra (Larry) Gegg of Sainte Genevieve and Connie (Jeff) Stoll of Arnold, Mo.; a sister; Alma Regelsperger-Mattingly of Perryville; grandchildren: Brad Stolzer, Kyle (Nicole) Stolzer, Eric (Amanda) Gegg, Nicole (Zach Powell) Gegg, Shane (Hannah) Gegg, Morgan (Brandon Misher) Stoll, Mallory Stoll, Nathan Stoll; great-grandchildren: Cole, Wyatt, Lucas, Lilli, Tyler, Ryan, Ava, Alex; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Rudy Trapp.
She was a member of VFW Auxiliary of Sainte Genevieve and Sts. Philip and James Church.
Anna loved to cook, bake and watch wrestling on TV.
She was proud of her flowers.
Anna worked for many years at Sirros and was known as the “Salad Bar Lady.”
She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024 and 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.
A funeral for 90-year-old Anna Josephine Stolzer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Sts. Philip and James Church in River Aux Vases, Mo. The Rev. Edward Nemeth will officiate.
Burial will be at the Sts. Philip and James Cemetery in River Aux Vases, Mo.
