PHS-SVHS Mayor’s Cup
PERRYVILLE – The Mayor’s Cup will be held Saturday at the Perry Park Center.
The complete schedule includes:
12 noon -JV Girls basketball game
1:30pm-JV Boys basketball game
3:00pm-Varsity Girls basketball game
4:30pm-Varsity Boys basketball game
The PHS Choir will sing the National Anthem before the Varsity Girls game, and the SVHS Choir will perform the National Anthem prior to the Varsity Boys game.
The PHS Cheerleaders will perform during halftime of the Varsity Girls game, and the SVHS Cheerleaders will perform during halftime of the Varsity Boys game.
The PHS Student Section will be in the bleachers directly across from their bench, near the garage door.
The SVHS Student Section will be in the bleacher directly behind their bench, to the left of the scorer’s table.
Boys Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve fell to St. Vincent 60-52.
The Dragons play at Farmington Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The Indians host Kelly at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle lost at Jefferson 72-57.
The Warriors play at West County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville host Festus at 7 p.m. tonight.
CHESTER – Chester plays at Okawville Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Girls Basketball
CHESTER – Chester host Okawville tonight at 7:30.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent was scheduled to play Jefferson last night, but the score was not reported.
The Lady Indians play Perryville in the Mayor’s Cup Saturday, junior varsity at noon and varsity at 3.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve hosts Fredericktown Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
The Ste. Genevieve High School girls basketball game and unified game with Farmington have been rescheduled for this coming Friday.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle Catholic beat Kingston 49-20.
The Lady Warriors were led in scoring by Madelyn Griffard with 19 points. Brooklyn Weibrecht had nine, and Ade Weiler had eight.
The Lady Warriors play at Arcadia Valley Friday at 6 p.m.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville hosts St. Vincent JV at noon and varsity at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Mayor’s Cup.
SGMS Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – The second round of the MAJHAA 8th Grade Conference Tournament was canceled yesterday. All games will be pushed back one day. The tournament will now end on Friday.
So, the eighth seed eighth grade boys play top seed Farmington today at 4.
The sixth seed eighth grade girls lost to third seed Bismarck as the MAJHAA tournament.
Wrestling
STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve High School Boys and Girls Wrestling Teams went 3-0 against De Soto, Herculaneum, and Notre Dame last night. Evan Winters scored his 100th varsity win.
Ste. Genevieve wrestles at Farmington Wednesday, Jan. 31st.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle was scheduled to wrestle Kennett last night. The results are not available.
The Warriors wrestle in the Bob Goerger Classic Saturday.
