A funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 for 87-year-old William “Bill” Ludwig Deimund of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Riverview At The Park in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born January 31, 1936 in McBride , Mo., a son of Henry Lorberg and Emma Deimund who both preceded him in death.
He married Dolly (Gowen) Deimund on July 4, 1959. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons: William “Willie” H. (Leanna) Deimund of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and James “Jim” (Mary) Deimund of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a brother: Dewey Lorberg of Godfrey, Ill.; a sister: Janet Brickhaus of Jackson, Mo.; grandchildren: Blake Deimund, Ashley Begman, Chad Deimund, Lucas (Crystal) Deimund, Joshua (Katelyn) Deimund, Steven Deimund, Michelle (Ryan) Seifert, Chuck Deimund, Sheldon (Maegan) Deimund, Derek (Ashley) Deimund; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sons: Wayne (Kathy) Deimund and Steven Deimund; a daughter: Sherry Deimund; and a sister: Karen Lorberg.
He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 618 and the Carpenter Union.
William loved to fish, garden and hunt.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. on Friday, January 26, 2024.
