A funeral will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 for 81-year-old Rosalee Prost Lurk of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1942 in Perryville, Mo, a daughter of Gilmore and Velma Prost who both preceded her in death.
She married James Lurk on December 26, 1963. He survives.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Jim Prost; and a grandson: Wade Lurk.
She is also survived by two sisters: Margie (Tom) Brown and Ann (Randy) Koenig; a son: Mike (Tina) Lurk, a daughter: Dena (John) Mullen; grandchildren: Brooke, Jordan, Mia, Finn and Sean; and great grandchildren: Emmett and Jane.
Rosalee retired from teaching music at Valle Grade School and was a member of Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church.
Rosalee loved to play the piano and enjoyed tennis in her younger years and golf in her retirement years.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday, January 27th at Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church.
A funeral mass for 81-year-old Rosalee Prost Lurk of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 10 am at the Church of Ste.Genevieve.
