Perry County School District 32 has announced it will not be in session today, Tuesday, Jan. 16.
“Many factors contributed to the decision to close school including snow-packed county roads, tomorrow’s forecast for temperatures under 20 degrees, and a broken heating unit in one wing of the elementary school. Combined, these factors make it safest for students to be at home (today),” PCSD 32 officials said in a news release.
“Tuesday will be an instructional day for students. You can find information about each building’s snow day instructional plan in the Snow Day Plans packet at https://www.perryville.k12.mo.us/…/snow-day…/409616, on the District website, and the D32 Facebook page.
“We are making plans to return to school if at all possible on Wednesday; however, we may need to use the Emergency Bus Routes. If your students ride the bus, please review the emergency bus routes in the Snow Day Plans packet at https://www.perryville.k12.mo.us/…/snow-day…/409616, on the District website, and the D32 Facebook page.”
