STE. GENEVIEVE – The MAAA Honor’s Band Rehearsal and Concert will take place today (Monday) at the Farmington Centene Center.
Ste. Genevieve High School Athletic Director Jeff Nix announced a revised schedule Sunday evening.
This event has been changed from a two day event to a one day event.
Below are the Rehearsal and Concert details as well as the protocol for when we get snow, such as what we experienced with the cancellation on Saturday morning.
Monday 1/8/24 (Centene Center in Farmington)
- 9:00am-11:30pm Rehearsal
- 1:00pm – 4:00pm Rehearsal
- Dinner Break
- 7:00pm – Concert – Students seated on the stage at 6:30.
- This concert is an MAAA event and will have typical MAAA admission fees, $3 for adults and $2 for students.
TENTATIVE Snow Day Backup Rehearsal Plans
- #1 – If the Saturday rehearsal is canceled, the band will still meet and perform on the day of the Monday rehearsal.
- #2 – If the Saturday and Monday rehearsals are canceled, the band will rehearse and perform on that THURSDAY of the same week.
- #3 – If Saturday, Monday, and Thursday are all canceled, the band reverts to the Saturday / Monday plan on the following weekend.
- #4 – (Same as #1, but the following week) – Monday rehearsal and performance
- #5 – (Same as #2, but the following week) – THURSDAY rehearsal and performance
- If the band cannot be held within the 5 snow day backup plans, the event will be canceled.
