SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission yesterday awarded a contract for Americans with Disabilities Act sidewalk improvements in the city of Ste. Genevieve.
The $624,957 contract was awarded to Putz Construction, LLC. for the project.
The announcement did not indicate where the affected sidewalks are located, but it can be assumed they will be along the state highways: Routes 61, 32 and M.
Also at the meeting Wednesday, the MHTC awardeded the following contracts for work in the Southeast District .
- A $1,975,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement resurfacing on Route 25 from Z to Business 25 in Dunklin and Stoddard counties.
- A $3,975,000 contract was awarded to Pace Construction Company for pavement resurfacing on Route 63 from Route CC to Route 32 in Texas County.
- A $2,388,855 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for construction of a roundabout on Route 25 at Route K in Cape Girardeau County.
