SB I-55 in Ste. Genevieve, Perry, and Cape Girardeau Counties impacted for signage work starting today

SIKESTON—Southbound Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve, Perry, and Cape Girardeau Counties will have reduced shoulders while contractor crews install new signs on the right of way.

Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily:

  • Wednesday, Jan. 3 through Friday, Jan. 5 from mile marker 163 to mile marker 150.4, in Ste. Genevieve County
  • Monday, Jan. 8 through Thursday, Jan. 11 from mile marker 149.6 to mile marker 130.2, in  Ste. Genevieve and Perry Counties, and;
  • Monday, Jan.15 through Thursday, Jan.18 from mile marker 130.2 to mile marker 102.8 in Perry and Cape Girardeau Counties.

Work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
