Charles F. Rauh, 86, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Perryville.
He was born September 18, 1937 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Herbert and Ida (Stueve) Rauh.
He and Eileen Wichern were married June 8, 1963 at Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown. She survives in Perryville.
Charlie was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Cape Girardeau, MO. He served in the United States Army. He worked as a Health Care Administrator most of his career. He enjoyed fishing with his family and enjoyed writing, he wrote many books. He was a member of the AmVets.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy (Kris) Rauh of Perryville, MO, Joshua (Rhonda) Rauh of Perryville, MO; sister, Barbara Powell of Pocahontas; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John E., Herbert and Robert Rauh; brother-in-law, Ray Powell.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Cape Girardeau with Rev. Paul Winningham officiating.
Burial will be at Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Uniontown.
Memorial contributions to LFCS in Cape Girardeau or The Lutheran Heritage Museum in Altenburg, MO.
