Boys’ Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Seventh seed Ste. Genevieve bounced back against 15th seed Perryville 77-54 in the 68th Annual Bob Sechrest Jr. Central Christmas Tournament.
Ste. Genevieve plays Fredericktown today at 1:30 p.m. in consolation semifinal. The winner will play in the consolation championship game Saturday at noon.
Perryville plays De Soto at 7 p.m. Friday, January 5th.
PERRYVILLE – Seventh seed St. Vincent beat sixth seed Valle 59-56 in Valle’s Winter Warrior Classic.
The Indians play Valley Park today at 4:30 for fifth place.
The Warriors play Valmeyer today at 3 p.m. for seventh place.
CHESTER – Chester lost to Roxana 47-44 and beat Woodlawn 51-44 in the Duster Thomas Tournament. The tournament continues tonight.
Girls’ Basketball
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve beat Potosi 48-42 in the Central Christmas Tournament Wednesday night.
The Dragons play Steeleville Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the consolation championship game.
STE. GENEVIEVE – The No. 5 seed Perryville Lady Pirates beat No. 4 seed Valle Catholic 51-46 Thursday in the FSCB tournament.
The Lady Pirates advance to the semifinals today vs. No. 1 seed Hillsboro at 11:30 a.m. at West County High School in the First State Community Bank Tournament.
The Lady Warriors play Viburnum today.
CHESTER — Chester beat Anna Jonesboro 51-39 in the Winterfest Tournament hosted by Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School. The Lady Jackets play Christ our Rock Lutheran at 1:30 today in a consolation semifinal.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent girls host Delta Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
