A graveside service will be held at a future date for 52-year-old Karl P. Kaspar of Chester, Ill., who passed away at 5:05 pm, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Ill.
He was born March 26, 1971 in Lakenheath, England, a son of Gary Lee and Beverly Jean (nee Carstens) Kaspar, who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by five children: Dylan Kaspar of Chester, Ill., Tayler Kaspar of Mascoutah, Ill., Elizabeth Kaspar of Mascoutah, Ill., Karleigh Kaspar of Mascoutah, Ill., and Leevi Kaspar of Belleville, Ill.; a sister: Kim (Loren) Kisling of Wright City, Mo.; a younger sister and an aunt: Gert Gammon of Clinton, Iiowa.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Kristopher Kaspar and an uncle: Roger Gammon.
Karl was a manager in food service for more than 30 years and was a favorite of regular customers.
He was of the Lutheran Faith.
Karl was a lover of tattoos and horror movies.
He was also an avid St. Louis Rams football fan.
Karl was a United States Army Veteran.
It was Karl’s wish to be cremated.
