Marvin John Westerman, 79, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 11:35 am, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
He was born to the late John and Lela (nee McFadden) Westerman on July 16, 1944 in Chester, Illinois.
Marvin married Gennine Oulvey on May 7, 1966 at Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh, Illinois; she survives.
He had worked as a maintenance supervisor for Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation for 41 years and was also a farmer.
Marvin was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois. He enjoyed farming, going to stock and sprint car races and getting together with family and friends.
