Bryant Schwent named SGHS Elks Student of the Month

STE. GENEVIEVE — Congratulations to Bryant Schwent, the Elks Student of the Month for December from Ste. Genevieve High School.

 

 

Bryant is the son of Brian and Alyssa Schwent.

Bryant’s scholastic honors include: being ranked #4 in his graduating senior class, earning A Honor Roll each semester, being in the Top 10% every year in high school, being awarded Summa Cum Laude, and winning numerous class awards, including Advanced Biology, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Bryant has also been involved in a number of clubs and organizations including Student Council, Mentors, National Honor Society, and FRIENDS. He has also served as a class officer.

Bryant has been a member of the SGHS football, wrestling, and baseball teams all four years. Bryant has received numerous awards in these sports. He has been selected to the academic All-State team numerous times and has been selected to the All-Conference, All-District, and All-Region football teams and has won the Outstanding Special Teams award. Bryant has also been a wrestling district and sectional champion and a state qualifier. He was also chosen to attend the Sophomore Pilgrimage.

In his free time, Bryant enjoys spending time hunting, flying planes, working out, and spending time with family and friends. Bryant works part time at Schaefer Farms. Bryant plans to attend the University of Central Missouri to major in professional piloting.
