JEFFERSON CITY — It was reported in the news late in the afternoon on December 13th, that Missouri Right to Life “does not oppose medically-assisted suicide when the patient involved is ‘already dying'”.
Missouri Right to Life denies that statement in a news release, “Nothing could be further from the truth! Missouri Right to Life has always opposed all assisted suicide.”
“While the liberal media loves to attack and demonize pro-life organizations and people, pro-life organizations like Missouri Right to Life continue to work to protect all innocent human lives from conception to natural death.
“While we work to protect unborn babies and their moms and support programs to provide help to women in crisis situations, Missouri Right to Life also works to protect our most vulnerable at the end of their life. Missouri Right to Life’s position on end of life has not changed. Missouri Right to Life absolutely opposes euthanasia and assisted suicide. Missouri Right to Life policy statements are clear on these issues.
