ROLLA, Mo. — The Annual Permits for the Chadwick Riding Area for 2024 are available for purchase! The permits are valid from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024.
OHV Annual and Daily Permits are available at the following locations:

The Forest Service can process your purchase in several ways:
- In Person – Please bring your vehicle’s information so you can fill out the registration form.
- Via Mail – Please print, fill out, and sign, your registration form, then mail it to the Forest Service office in Ava, with exact cash or a check. Make checks payable to USDA Forest Service. Processing and return mail could take around four weeks.
- Combination e-mail, phone, and mail – Please print, fill out, and sign your vehicle’s registration form and email the registration form to us – include your phone number so we can call you for payment. The email address(es) to send the form to may be obtained by calling the Ava Office. Once we process the permit, we will mail it to you. The return mail could take a couple weeks to arrive.
- Online – Daily Permits ONLY at https://www.recreation.gov/activitypass/AP21366 .

There will be price increases for the Daily Permits on July 1, 2024. These will be an increase of three dollars per day of the permit. The 1-day pass will go from $7 to $10; the 2-day from $14 to $20; and the 3-day from $21 to $30.
