Boys’ Basketball
PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent won at Chaffee 58-57.
“Max Wheeler hit a lay-up with three seconds to go off an inbounds play to win the game for St. Vincent,” Coach Bruce Valleroy reported.
Jacob Schremp led the Indian scoring with 15. Wheeler had 12. Peyton Strattman and Quentin Doza each had 10. Another player had six, and Wyatt Winkler and Gavin Hotop each had three.
The varsity improves to 2-3 on the year.
The Indians junior varsity won a two-quarter contest 22-20 to improve to 4-1 on the season.
Wheeler led the JV with nine, Case Huber had five, Gavin Hotop and Wyatt Winkler had four.
The Indians varsity and junior varsity play at Scott City Friday.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville lost to visiting Hillsboro 76-44.
The Pirates play Chester in the Border War Saturday.
